To promote the traditional virtues of respecting the elderly in the Chinese nation, and to create a strong atmosphere of elderly care, filial piety, and respect for the elderly, on the occasion of the Double Ninth Festival, the company's Party Secretary, Chairman, President, and Directors visited and comforted the centenarians and elderly in the entire region, and sent holiday greetings and good wishes to the elderly, bringing warmth to their hearts.
At each location, the Chairman sends comfort money to the elderly and warmly asks about their daily life, health status, medical security, and children's work, etc. The elderly and their families express their heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman for his kindness.
Since 2015, the Chairman and his family have donated condolence funds to the elderly in the entire region every year, benefiting 2560 people. This year, the Chairman and his family have donated to the elderly in the entire region for 8 consecutive years, and the donation amount has been raised to 2 million, which has been widely recognized and unanimously praised by all sectors in the region.
On Sept. 14, Weiguo Yang, Chairman and President of the company, as well as Directors, held a donation ceremony of 2 million yuan to the elderly in the entire region, which was held in the company auditorium.
At the ceremony, the district leaders highly praised Yizhou Company for actively responding to the call of the Party and the state over the years, adhering to the corporate mission of ‘creating wealth, dedicating to the society, and making clothes for the people, and contributing to the country’, and actively fulfilling social responsibilities.
